This is the grey area. The software itself (the installer) is legal—it’s code written by developers. However, using it to install that you do not own physically is copyright infringement.

For now, the concept of an "exclusive" auto installer remains a pipe dream. The tools we have are powerful, free, and more than sufficient for batch installation.
