Hitman Agent 47 is a 2015 action-thriller film directed by Matthew Vaughn and written by Joe Ahearne, John H. Browne, and Danny Arkin. The film is based on the popular video game series of the same name and stars Rupert Friend as the titular character, Agent 47. The movie follows the story of a genetically engineered assassin who works for a secret organization known as the International Contract Agency (ICA). When Agent 47 is betrayed by his employers, he sets out to uncover the truth behind his past and the conspiracy that led to his betrayal.
