Lucy Georgia’s professional background is rooted in the marketing industry. Before her rise as an influencer, she worked on the brand side of influencer campaigns in London. This experience provided her with a strategic understanding of the industry, though she initially felt "embarrassed" to post her own content.

She has also served as a Creative Director for large-scale design events, such as the "Seeds of Innovation" grad show at the Wilson School of Design .
