Inuyashiki tells the story of an elderly, meek salaryman (Ichiro Inuyashiki) and a teenage delinquent (Shishigami Hiro) who are both struck by a mysterious, otherworldly beam. The blast rebuilds their bodies into near‑indestructible, cybernetic shells. While Inuyashiki uses his newfound powers to help strangers and protect his family, Hiro embraces his abilities for personal gain, sowing chaos and destruction. The clash between these two “post‑human” beings forces a reflection on what it means to be human, the value of life, and the moral weight of power.
