The ALI RS232 Upgrade Tool (often labeled as AliUpgradeTool_v1.2.0.exe or similar) is a Windows-based application designed to flash firmware (also called ".abs" files) onto receivers using an ALi M-series chipset (M3302, M3328, M3383, M3606, etc.). Before the era of USB bootloaders, RS232 (serial port) was the most reliable method to write raw data directly to the receiver’s flash memory.
