If Windows Defender ate your file, you can often bring it back without redownloading: Open (search for it in the Start menu). Go to Virus & threat protection > Protection history .

Once you have successfully installed the game, take these steps to ensure the error never returns:

Go to your FIFA 14 installation directory (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\FIFA 14 ). Open the folder. Open the fifasetup folder.
