The movie picks up where the first film left off, with Shivani Shivaji Roy (Rani Mukerji) now working with the Mumbai Police to take down a notorious gangster, Vijay Bhadra (played by Sunil Grover). However, things take a dramatic turn when Shivani's team is ambushed, and she is forced to confront a new and more ruthless adversary, a psychopathic killer named Rishi (played by Shroff).
