In Deathmatch mode, it becomes a chaotic arcade shooter. In Zombie Mode, it's a tense survival horror game. The beauty of V9 is its modularity: you can disable all extra weapons and play vanilla CS 1.6 with bots, or go full "Michael Bay" with grenade launchers and laser guns.
