Young bisexual individuals often face unique challenges. Bisexuality can be misunderstood or invisibilized, both within and outside LGBTQ+ communities. This erasure can lead to feelings of isolation or not fully belonging. Moreover, bisexual youth may encounter biphobia, which can manifest as skepticism about the validity of bisexuality, assumptions of promiscuity, or even discrimination from both straight and LGBTQ+ communities.
