The movie follows Truman Burbank (Jim Carrey), a seemingly ordinary man living in the idyllic town of Seahaven. Unbeknownst to Truman, his entire life is being broadcast on a 24/7 TV show, "The Truman Show," which has been documenting his every move since he was a baby. The show's creator, Christof (Danny DeVito), has carefully constructed Truman's world to ensure maximum entertainment value, complete with a fabricated family, friends, and romantic relationships.
